In 2006, Ernest Concepcion and I began engaging in drawing battles called 'Kangarok': The Nordic apocalypse Ragnarok, as brought about by demonic Kangaroos. We called ourselves The Shining Mantis, and created epic battles through flow of consciousness plays of imagination using chalk, paint and cardboard.
