This work is a showroom model for a high-end time travel experience offered to adventurous time-travellers in the year 2246. The experience is a campsite in the middle of a punk squat in the year 198X.

This work is both a sincere celebration of ABC No Rio’s history as an hub of punk and squatter culture, as well as an ironic display of the commoditization of that culture that has led to the present, gentrified state of the Lower East side.

The monitor loops authentic “punk” footage taken from the TV shows CHiPs and Quincy.
